And The Koding #Hackathon Winners Are...

Drum roll please!! The moment that you all have been waiting for… here are the winners from our 2014 Global Virtual Hackathon!

Top Hacker Category

First Place: Team WunderBruders

  • Theme: Introducing software development to a beginner (games!)
  • Cash Prize: $8,000 + $2,500 (Elance-ODesk) + $1,000 (Count.ly) = $11,500. Non-cash prizes: $5000 in credits from Digital Ocean, One year of service from Tutum, $5,500 service credit from Firebase (recently acquired by Google).

  • Theme: Problems facing our planet, explained using interactive data visualization. (e.g. climate change, earthquakes, food/water waste, accessibility related issues, etc.)
